Coeymans Hollow Ladies Auxiliary President Mary Ann Dennis would like to extend her appreciation to everyone who purchased our Manhattan Clam Chowder. All proceeds from the Chowder Sale will benefit the Coeymans Hollow Scholarship Fund.  Mary Ann would like to extend her appreciation to all the Ladies of the Auxiliary and the Fire Company members who assisted with all the chopping and the selling of the clam chowder that helped make it a success. The next sale will be held on Friday March 14, 2014.  We hope to see you all next year.

CHVFC Dedicates AED’S

On Tuesday March 12 the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation dedicated 3 Automated External Defibrillaters that were purchased with memorial donations in the loving memory of J. C. Flach who passed away in a tragic accident. The Flach family set up a memorial donation fund for the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation. With the donations the Fire Corporation purchased three AED’S, for the firehouse and two trucks to provide emergency defibrillation.

The Flach family, Parents Liz and John, their son Keith and J.C.’s finance Nicole Bautochka attended the dedication. The AED in the firehouse has a Memorial Placque placed on the side of the case.

The Flach family and the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation would like to express their appreciation to everyone who donated to J. C.’s memorial fund.

The Coeymans Hollow Ladies Auxiliary will once again be making their delicious Manhattan Clam Chowder this Friday March 8, the second of three sales during Lent. The Ladies will be busy chopping the freshest vegetables available and combining them with spices and clams to make our Chowder delicious. Our Chowder also freezes very well so you can stock up and enjoy it all year long. The Chowder Sale will begin at 4:00p.m. at the Coeymans Hollow Fire House, State Rt 143 in Coeymans Hollow. Please come out to the Hollow to purchase the best and freshest Chowder in town. All proceeds from the Chowder Sale will benefit the Coeymans Hollow Scholarship Fund. We appreciate your support of the Coeymans Hollow Ladies Auxiliary. NOTE The third and final Chowder sale will be held on Friday March 22.
